After studying at Manchester University Maurice worked for many years in the Engineering and Plastics industry, before taking the LCCH training course in order to reduce his own levels of Arthritic symptoms. Since completing the course he has worked as a part time lecturer training student therapists with the LCCH and runs his own practice in the Oldham area.
Maurice also has an office in Manchester and offers a home visit service to those unable to attend the office.
Maurice continues to mentor students and practicing therapists offering supervision, support and advanced in the field training and workshops in wide range of specialised conditions.
The main body of his work involves travelling throughout the north of England working with pain control, and he has a reputation for taking some of the more difficult and unusual cases. Maurice has completed many master classes on a wide range of specialist subjects associated with Hypnosis including Habit Breaking, Phobias, Psychosexual problems, Psychoneuroimmunology and Stress Management.
He is an NHS independent provider, and is governed by the code of conduct and ethics of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis.
